Catherine Fitzgerald Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Catherine Fitzgerald expands C.A. Tooling in honor of her husband
LYNCHBURG, VA, November 29, 2010 /Women in Business PR News/ -- Catherine Fitzgerald, President and CEO of C.A. Tooling, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in accounting and business management.
For 15 years, Ms. Fitzgerald has handled the accounting and management duties of C.A. Tooling, a company that her husband, David, founded in order to preserve the art of pattern making. She is charged with overseeing the company's accounting and bookkeeping, managing employees, holding meetings and maintaining relationships with customers. In light of David's passing, Ms. Fitzgerald has expanded the company to include a machine shop; she attributes her success to the support and business mentoring she received from her husband.
A former student of Central Virginia Community College, Ms. Fitzgerald completed coursework in accounting, which prepared her for her position at C.A. Tooling. She has been recognized by Presidential Who's Who, as well as received an award from the Federated Mutual Insurance Company. In her free time, she is a nursery coordinator for her local church. Ms. Fitzgerald hopes to see continued growth of her company in the next few years.
