PHILADELPHIA, PA, November 29, 2010 /Women in Business PR News/ -- Karen G. Reilly, Senior Systems Consultant of FluidEdge Consulting, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the field of health care consulting.
Ms. Reilly has 25 years of experience in the health care and managed care industries. Early in her career, she worked for six years as a manager, presiding over provider and member services for one of the first HMOs in the Philadelphia area. From there, she worked with a number of large organizations and headed up initiatives in areas such as major managed care systems transformation/implementation and operational change management projects. She subsequently spent seven years at Independence Blue Cross where she was tasked with the management of several key initiatives, including the migration to a new enterprise wide care management system. Prior to her current role at FluidEdge Consulting, she spent several years at MEDecision as a Senior Project Manager and Program Director. In that role, she successfully led a major initiative to implement the suite of MEDecision products at one of the largest managed care companies in the country.
In Ms. Reily's current role as Senior Systems Consultant at FluidEdge Consulting, she is actively engaged with customer projects involving vendor selection, system implementations, conversions and Interfaces, as well as providing guidance and advice during major operational initiatives for FluidEdge customers.
Ms. Reilly attributes her success to building strong working relationships with co-workers and customers, maintaining a good grasp on the challenges facing both internal and external customers and constantly updating business as well as technical knowledge. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Temple University in1985.
