Michelle Duncan Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Michelle Duncan named NEST's (Network of Entrepreneurs selling Travel) first recipient of the Bruce J. Peterson Spirit Award in 2008
CENTERVILLE, VA, November 17, 2010 /Women in Business PR News/ -- Michelle Duncan, Chief Executive Officer and President of Odyssey Travel Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in travel services.
With 15 years of professional experience, Ms. Duncan was driven to enter her field by her love for traveling. At Odyssey Travel Inc., she oversees the day-to-day operations of the agency, as well as supports 17 independent contractors. She is also responsible for hosting, training, and preparing travel agents. Although her background is in broadcasting, her expertise is in luxury cruises and all-inclusive vacations. She attributes her success to her customer service skills.
In 1985, Ms. Duncan received a bachelor's degree in business from the University of South Florida. The former charter president of the Rotary Club of Centreville, Va., was one of the top 100 finalists to be considered as Godmother to the Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas in 2007. In her free time, she volunteers at her community's travel baseball team and high school football team. In the future, Ms. Duncan intends to increase her company's revenue and continue to advance in her industry.
