Aleta Thornton worked as a special education aide for 11 years

With 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Thornton has served as the owner of Grace Operating Inc., an oil and gas company, for three years. In her current position, she is responsible for managing the bookkeeping for the oil and gas recovery stations, and one water station that sell fresh water to drilling companies. Previously, she worked as a special education aide for 11 years. Furthermore, she is a former licensed beauty operator and nurse's aide.
In 1957, Ms. Thornton received a GED certificate. She is a former member of the Pink Ladies and is affiliated with the Texas Retired Teachers Association. In her spare time, she is a volunteer at the Church of Christ within her community. She attributes her success to her husband, four children, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In the future, Ms. Thornton hopes to experience professional growth, despite the fact that her company is currently downsizing.
