She has 30 years of professional experience, including 17 years of experience in her current position. At Sanford Health, Ms. Grunewald oversees staff who handle billing to third-party payers, updates the company's computer systems, ensures all coding and documentations are correct, as well as collaborates with other managers on regulations and scheduling matters.
She attributes her success to her strong work ethic and influence from her father, Clifford. Ms. Grunewald graduated in 1979 from Fergus Falls College with an associate degree in business. Holding a certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association, she is also a member of the organization. In her free time, Ms. Grunewald volunteers for Sanford Children's Hospital and Clinics, as well as the Faith Lutheran Church. Before retiring, she aspires to become a manager or director of patient financial services.
