Stephanie McClain Helps Females Build Self Esteem Through Pageant Participation

Slidell, LA, December 30, 2010 /Women in Business PR News/ -- Stephanie McClain, Chief Executive Officer of American Dream, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management, productions and events, and photography.
Stephanie McClain is the trademark owner and national director of American Dream pageants. She started out as a photographer and enjoyed a successful 23-year career before being bitten by the pageant bug. She also had her own local television show, ran multiple state level pageants concurrently for other systems, and managed to compete and coach successfully at the state and national level in a variety of systems for many years. Ms. McClain also ran a bed and breakfastbanquet establishment for many years. It grew and prospered thanks to her event planning expertise.
In 2007, Stephanie retired from competition to produce the first American Dream pageant. Since then, her American Dream productions have won three independent film awards and been featured on numerous telecasts, MTV, and on the radio. In 2005 and 2006 her state pageants in Ohio and Indiana received the 'Most Prestigious and Professionally Produced Pageant' Awards. Through American Dream, Stephanie enjoys mentoring females, building their self-esteem, and producing events geared toward women in the work place. She also works to bring awareness to New Orleans, LA. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her daughter, Amanda.
Looking ahead, Stephanie intends to continue her mentoring activities, help young girls and women meet their dreams and goals, and live her motto: Excellence Is Not A Goal - It's A Standard.
Stephanie received a Ph.D. in Business from Tulane University in 2003, a Master of Arts in Business in 1995, a Master's Degree in Photography from the Winona School of Professional Photography, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio University in 1990. Additionally, she holds photography, real estate and insurance licenses. She maintains affiliation with Soles4Souls Inc. and the Lupus Foundation of America, for which she helped raise $112,062.
