Shew has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her exceptional effort in the Jewelry Industry. As Owner of Designs Unlimited, as well as throughout her incredible 23 years in the business, Mrs. Shew has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Designs Unlimited is a jewelry manufacturer which uses a wire wrapping technique with polished stones. They have an open to the general public studio which operates out of a renovated torpedo factory. Designs Unlimited offers a wide variety of rings and pendants in a traditional style which accentuates the stones, reminiscent of those in British museums.
Mrs. Shew is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. During her educational career, Helen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 1952. She has been a member of the Gemological, Laboratory and Mineral Society of Washington D.C. since 1985.
