Enterprising Women Welcomes Two New Members To Advisory Board

Martha D. Moore And Sequoia Ramsey Added As Board Members

RALEIGH, NC, July 30, 2011 /Women in Business PR News/ -- Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine (http://www.enterprisingwomen.com), has named Martha D. Moore and Sequoia Ramsey as members of the Enterprising Women Advisory Board.

Moore owns McCormick Asphalt Paving & Excavating, Inc., an Arkansas-based company specializing in the construction, maintenance and repair of new and existing parking lots, driveways, runways and roads. She is a member of Associated General Contractors and the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce, as well as Lead-AR Class 14, a program for business professionals and community leaders. With a strong commitment to helping others, Moore founded a nonprofit women's transitional living facility to help previously incarcerated women gain a fresh start in life. Her business has won numerous awards for diversity, and was named a U.S. Woman's Chamber of Commerce "Emerging Small Business" in 2010.

Ramsey launched Realistic Computing, Inc., a full service IT consulting enterprise in 1997. As chief executive officer of the company, she provides clients with turnkey systems integration with expertise in telecommunications systems, data networking, information technologies, enterprise management and more. While at Hood College in Frederick, Md., she started a computer camp for homeless children that led her to offer technical services to her fellow students. She has dedicated her career to supporting the development of future technical professionals, including supporting programs at the Western School of Technology, Environmental Science High School and Coppin State University in Baltimore.

Members of the Enterprising Women Advisory Board provide advice to the publication's staff to tailor the magazine to meet the needs of entrepreneurial women.

QUOTES:
"Martha and Sequoia bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their new roles on our board," said Smiley. "They are both community leaders with a passion for service to others and will be sharing their insight and best practices with our readers. I look forward to working with them in the future."
