Outstanding Quality Assurance Coordinator Joins Stanford Who's Who
Lisa M. Poiry has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her phenomenal effort in public service.
NORTHWOOD, OH, January 30, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Lisa M. Poiry has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her phenomenal effort in public service. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator with the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Lisa has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is a nonprofit, government organization that monitors services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Lisa is responsible for monitoring compliance of rules and regulations by the State of Ohio. She oversees staff that conducts quality assurance work.
Lisa spent over 8 years in a social work case management position with Catholic Charities prior to her position with the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities. She was originally hired as a case manager in the children's unit. After 6 months there was a re-organization and she was placed in a QA Specialist position. She completed Management School offered by the County and was awarded the Management position three years ago.
In addition to her working for the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Lisa also owns a side business of event coordinating services called DreamScapes Wedding and Events Planning. They can be found on Decidio.com and Wedding Wire. Lisa's success stems from the support of her family as well as her strong will of independence.
During her educational career, Lisa earned a Master's degree from Siena Heights University in Counseling. She also completed Post Graduate courses in Counseling. She also received training through County Board providers and staff. Lisa's success stems from her education, exceptional work ethic, strong upbringing and working for an organization which promotes success and growth.
