HONOLULU, HI, January 11, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Beatrice Fitzpatrick, RN, MBA, BSN has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding effort in the Healthcare Industry. As Director of Clinical Medical Assisting with the Hawaii Medical Institute for the past 7 years, Beatrice has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
The Hawaii Medical Institute is a professional medical vocational school which offers professional training certification of Medical Coders and Billers, Medical Administrative Assistants, Clinical Medical Assistants, Phlebotomy Technicians, EKG Technicians, and Pharmacy Technicians. They are the only true Allied Health School in Hawaii focused on preparing students for entry level positions in the health care industry.
Beatrice is responsible for coordinating curriculum, marketing and business operations. She obtains clinical internships for students offering enhanced experience with doctors and healthcare facilities. Beatrice is dedicated to expanding to include additional schools with surgical and psychology technician programs.
During her educational career, Beatrice earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from De Paul University in 1981 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1997. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Diabetes Association, and Tri Delta.
Beatrice has trained medical assistants for the Honolulu Hospital System. She has had numerous clinical book reviews published. She also serves as a guest speaker at the Association of Medical Assistants Annual Meetings. Beatrice is the wife of the Episcopal Bishop of Hawaii based at St. Andrews Cathedral in Honolulu and ministering to a seven island congregation.
