Established in 2010, Kuhumelela is a young, fresh and dynamic company that was started with the intention to assist with the transformation of the accounting industry. They provide business and accounting consulting services, including mentoring and business plans for small, medium and micro enterprises; taxation; advisory for internal audits, corporate governance, performance management, and enterprise risk management; statutory audits; and forensic audits and investigations.
Althea is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She earned a bursary from Sizwe Ntsaluba VSP to study her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Certificate of Theory in Accounting at the University of Stellenbosch. Althea is a member of the South African institute of Chartered Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors.
