Stanford Who's Who Selects Nicole Levesque For Membership
Nicole Levesque has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding leadership abilities.
ARNPRIOR, ON, CANADA, November 18, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Nicole Levesque has earned the recognition of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding leadership abilities. As Director of the Galilee Centre, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Nicole has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Galilee Centre is a retreat and conference center, registered as the Galilee Mission Centre of Arnprior, which was incorporated in 1988 as a nonprofit charitable organization. The picturesque setting of Galilee brings about the natural experience of a restful and healing energy that is grounding, uplifting and inspiring. Their mission is to provide an environment, programs and services which nurture people's personal and spiritual growth, enabling them to contribute to a healthier world.
Nicole is responsible for program planning, dealing with problems at the resort, setting up new programs, running board meetings, and handling committee reports. She began her professional career as a classroom teacher in Northern Ontario, later serving as Dean of Students of an all-girl private high school. Nicole went on to serve as Chaplain of the Ottawa Catholic School Board for over 20 years.
During her collegiate career, Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies. She was the founding member of the Catholic School Chaplains of Ontario. Nicole has been the recipient of a Director of Education Commendation Award and the Doran Trophy.
