Horizon Productions has hired Megan r. Bell to be their new Director of New Business
RALEIGH, NC, December 17, 2011 /Women in Business PR News/ -- Horizon Productions, Inc. is pleased to announce that Megan R. Bell, MPM, PMP has joined the company as the Director of New Business Development. In this role, Megan works with Horizon's clients to develop video, multimedia and Web solutions that support their strategic, training and marketing goals.
Her Masters of Project Management degree, Project Management Professional ("PMP") certification and 15+ years of leading media and communication projects, uniquely qualify Megan to effectively apply business planning to creative endeavors. Megan uses her formal education and hands-on experience to ensure clients' projects are on time, on budget, and connect with their target audience. Her passion for the value of project management for creative projects is captured in her publications, "Project Management to Foster Creativity: Herding Cats to Develop Media," "Producing HD Video in an Education Setting: A Case Study", and "The Creation and Refinement of a Sustainable Multimedia Process in a Higher Education."
Customer service has been priority one for Horizon's 30 years of business and Megan shares this commitment to excellence. She is leading the Horizon Productions' latest customer service initiative to document customer satisfaction feedback and build a lessons learned resource.
An alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Western Carolina University, Megan's work experience encompasses talk radio, broadcast television, creative agencies, higher education IT and instructional media development. She will be working closely with Horizon Production's clients in the health care, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, higher education and IT sectors.
