Linda M. Kindle Rides Into The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

Linda M. Kindle has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her sensational professional career.

    BELLINGHAM, WA, April 22, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Linda M. Kindle has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her sensational professional career. As Owner and Operator of Okjen Farm, as well as throughout her brilliant career, Linda has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Okjen Farm is a family owned and operated business involved in the breeding of Friesians, Warmbloods and New Forest Ponies. Linda grew up with horses on her family's horse riding school in Holland. She began riding at the age of 6 and was formally trained in dressage, jumping and driving at the school. There Linda had the privilege of learning under some of Europe's top ranking instructors and horse trainers.

After immigrating to the state of Washington in 1980, Linda continued to go back to Holland where she acquired her AI education in fresh and frozen semen at the Equine Reproductive Clinic in Stroe.
In 1985, she went back to Holland to import more Friesian's and the approved Haflinger Stallion Mando. She then started a Carriage rides and Sleigh service business in Leavenworth, WA. The business flourished and more Friesians were bought and raised. Over the five years in Leavenworth, the Friesians and the business was spotlighted in national newspapers, magazines and television.

In 1986 Linda was awarded Business Woman of the Year by Northwest Woman Magazine. In 2002, she was awarded for her breeding accomplishments by the FPZV and her Friesian mare Alida received her Lifetime Achievement Award on her offspring. Then in 2008 and 2009, Linda was awarded best and most accomplished business woman by Montclair Who's Who and Continental Who's Who. In 2010, Linda became involved with the Whatcom County of Washington State Pony Club as there dressage instructor and NWA rater.
