VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, May 6, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dr. Michal Regev to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her outstanding effort in the Healthcare Industry. As a Psychotherapist running her own private practice for the past 11 years, Dr. Regev has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Dr. Regev is a Registered Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist who has provided therapy to individuals, couples and families since 1990. She specializes in couples therapy, postpartum depression and mood disorders in pregnancy. Dr. Regev also has extensive experience in treating anxiety disorders, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. In addition, she assists patients with infertility issues and pregnancy losses as well as other issues involving loss and grief.
During her collegiate career, Dr. Regev earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Counselling from Tel-Aviv University, graduating with Honors. She went on to earn a Master of Arts and PhD in Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Regev was the recipient of the International Women's Leadership Award for excellence in practice and research in the area of Postpartum Depression in 1996 and 1997. She is a member of the British Columbia Psychological Association, College of Psychologists of British Columbia, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
