Passionate, enthusiastic, and persistent, Ms. Aldoretta, with quilting as her passion for 23 years, opened up her business, Fabric Arts Studio, to promote creativity in the field of fabric arts. At the Fabric Arts Studio, one can take surface design classes in dyeing, painting, rusting, bleaching, stamping, screen printing, and collage techniques. She retains memberships with the Art Quilting Association, Front Range Contemporary Quilters, Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc., Surface Design Association, the International Quilt Association, and the American Quilter's Society.
Ms. Aldoretta is also a special education specialist. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in deaf education, a Master of Education in special education, and postgraduate coursework in education and communication. Her next goal is to earn a doctoral degree in wisdom studies with an emphasis on creativity, the arts and healing. Her other passions are travel and photography. Ms. Aldoretta is a supporter of Operation Christmas Child, Touching Lives Inc., Covenant House, and the Wild Animal Sanctuary.
