The company has been operating as Jani-Clean Janitorial Services out of Pitt Meadows since 2008, and before that as Clean-As-A-Whistle Cleaning for 10 years. Owner/operator Shelly has more than 15 years of experience under her belt, not to mention the 15 plus years janitorial experience her husband, Jim brings to the Company with the added experience of exterior building services, such as, gutter cleaning, window washing, siding and power washing. Jani-Clean Janitorial Services is a family owned and operated professional interior janitorial cleaning and exterior building service company based in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. Yes, Jani-Clean Janitorial Services is a dedicated family run business, with Shelly, Jim and their son, Austin, Shelly's mother, Deborah St. Jean is Office Manager and Shelly's cousin Lisa as bookkeeper, they all pitching in. The family cleans almost any kind of commercial, industrial or residential premises inside (vacuuming, sanitizing, emptying garbage, etc.) and out (power washing, window washing, gutters, etc.), except for those that involve bio-hazards which we leave to the bio-hazard professionals. Shelly is responsible for handling administrative duties as well as working in the field. We are fully trained and accredited, licensed, bonded and insured. Shelly is Certified in Carpet Cleaning, Floor Maintenance and Green Cleaning. She is a member of the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Chamber of Commerce.
"Our reputation is second-to-none in the local industry, not to mention our experience is extensive," says Shelly. "Our clients are very satisfied, and we consistently receive referrals that have helped us grow."
So what is it that sets Jani-Clean Janitorial Services apart from the competition? Well, Shelly can't help going back to that special word "reliable."
"I think the biggest reason for our success to date has been our dependability, our attention to detail, and the overall quality of our work. Most of Jani-Clean's clients right now are medical and insurance offices plus numerous residences, but Shelly wants to expand the commercial/industrial side of things. She says her rates are "very reasonable" - not the highest, nor the lowest in the industry.
"I've had a couple of clients leave me in the past because there are companies with cheaper rates out there, but the funny thing is they've since come back because they couldn't get the same quality of work."
