Barbara Meadowcroft Is Published In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Barbara Wales Meadowcroft has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.
WEST MOUNT, QC, CANADA, July 22, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Barbara Wales Meadowcroft has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. Throughout her brilliant career in the Arts, Barbara has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Barbara has always had an incredible interest in the arts, especially literature and painting. She has written numerous articles on Canadian women painters, including catalogue essays for the retrospective exhibitions of Anne Savage and Lilias Torrance Newton at the Walter Klinkhoff Gallery in Montreal. Barbara is also the author of the book, Painting Friends and the biography, Gwethalyn Graham.
During her collegiate career, Barbara earned a PhD in English Literature from McGill University. She wrote her doctoral dissertation on writer Arthur Stringer, her great-uncle, leading her to become a Research Fellow at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute at Concordia University. In her leisure time, Barbara greatly enjoys skiing, movies, and theatre.
