Margaret Stewart Honored as a VIP of the Year for Excellence in Engraving

Since 1972, Mrs. Stewart has been offering her unique glass, marble and granite engravings through her sole proprietorship, Stewart Designs. She has since become well known for her custom one-of-a-kind designs. She has engraved gifts for dignitaries, including Barbara Bush, the prime minister of Australia, and the President of India as well as local Minnesota government officials. Her work has been displayed at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, in restaurants, exhibitions, special events and individual personal homes throughout the region. With the use of your beloved pet photos as a guide, she can create "a memory", while catching the uniqueness of the pet. She has a special love of wildlife and domestic animals and enjoys featuring the wildlife and pet imagery in her art.

Mrs. Stewart is affiliated with Wemn and has been with Business Networking International, WISE Resource Volunteers of Minneapolis, among others. She is self-taught in her discipline and is a fierce perfectionist. A number of years ago, she was injured in an automobile accident that prevented her from working with her art. However, with the help and talent of her chiropractor and massage therapist, she is now able to continue her work. Mrs. Stewart was recently honored as a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who for her excellence in the art of free hand engraving.
